The Freedom Flag Garden- Honoring Those Who Protect Our Freedoms

The Madison Garden Club will dedicate the Freedom Flag Garden on the Madison County High School lawn at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 29, 2012.

 The dedication program on May 29, will include members of the high school band, school officials and community leaders, including donors and representatives of the groups this garden honors:

 Those who serve this nation to protect our freedoms:

past and present military personnel

and all first responders:

firefighters, police and rescue squad members.

Project Supply Pools and Spas is initiating a Military Discount of 5% on Chemicals and Accessories, every Wednesday with valid ID. Please pass the word.
 
Project Supply Pools and Spas is offering weekly or bi-weekly pool cleaning for $50 per session. We will brush the walls, vacuum the floor, check the chemical level and adjust as needed, check psi on filter and backwash if needed, net pool water surface.
 
* Price does include the cost of chemicals.

This event is free and has free parking at the Madison County High School with shuttle buses that run throughout the day. There is a handicap bus as well, but there are some spaces available for handicap parking on Washington Street. The Madison Free Clinic will asking for donations for those spaces.

Madison is located 27 miles north from Charlottesville on Route 29 and 17 miles south of Culpeper on Route 29.

The event has earned its reputation for uniqueness with a following of visitors that return every year. In 1999 it was named as one of the top 20 festivals in the southeastern region. This occasion started in 1992 as a heritage festival that celebrates the Mountain and Traditional cultures of the 18th & 19th century America as reflected in the customs and history of the Blue Ridge Mountains region and has continued this theme.

The entire family can enjoy the day, browsing, shopping, enjoying the games, riding ponies, listening to great music, eating and taking pleasure in the vast array of entertainment.
